Does the DfE site always give correct information?

If you find any incorrect information on the DfE site, you can notify them via the page link below.

Information from Governornet (now defunct) has been transferred to the Governance section of the DfE. Some of the pages are flagged up with a caveat that the information may not reflect current Government policy. Others have now been updated. If you notice incorrect, unclear or out of date information, you can use the link here to contact the DfE. Alternatively, you could contact them on Twitter (@educationgovuk) or phone: 0370 000 2288.

NB If you advise them of something that is incorrect on the DfE site, they will either amend it immediately or never, so if there is no change after two weeks, raise it again (and again).

Here’s the moment Michael Gove had to apologise for the mistakes made in the announcement about BSF, back in July 2010.
